What You'll Do
The Software Engineer responsible for development and integration software for ADAS Driver Monitoring System electronic modules. This position requires a hands on development with technical expertise in software engineering, development processes, and a strong background in Camera and Image processing (ISP), BSP software automotive systems, particularly ADAS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Lead by example, setting high standards for quality, efficiency, and ethical conduct.
- Report Status on regular basis to Management.
- Implement/Lead the design, implementation, testing, and debugging of software in alignment with automotive industry standards.
- Develop Software module on System on Chip (SoC) implementations, particularly with platforms like TI TDA4.
- Integration using tools such as TI SDK, QNX, GHS Integrity, Safety Linux, or Safe RTOS, Clasic AUTOSAR.
- Develop Camera Drivers and BSP for HW
- Develop/configure/Integrate camera Image Pipeline (ISP).
- Create requirements and develop image quality software modules.
- Develop Architecture and design for assigned tasks.
- Troubleshooting and debugging efforts to resolve operational issues.
- Employ structured problem-solving methods like 8D to systematically address and mitigate issues.
- Development and debugging of applications or device drivers on embedded Linux/QNX.
- Develop software according to software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring compliance with formal ASPICE/CMMi based Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Previous Experience on Leading AUTOSAR Projects
- Previous Experience on Software development on - TDA4/Qualcom/Nvidia SDK SOC.
- Experience on leading/Development on POSIX based Operating System like QNX, Linux, Threax
- Experience with embedded Linux distribution systems like Yocto or Buildroot .
- Proven track record of building and managing software development teams.
- Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ programming and systems architecture.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and embedded systems development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ADAS or other automotive technologies.
- Proficiency in modern software development tools and methodologies.
- Experience in managing distributed teams and international projects.
- Experience on CI/CD, Containerization, Digital Twin is an added advantage
